Privacy Policy
Last updated
Composable Horizons LLC operates Composables at composables.com. This policy explains how we handle information when you browse our Jetpack Compose templates, create an account, purchase Pairel, request product emails, or contact us. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to [email protected].
Accounts and access
Google sign-in provides your Google account identifier, verified email address, name, and profile image when available. We use this information to create and recognize your account, maintain your session, and provide access to free or paid code. We do not ask for your Google password or access to your Google email messages.
Essential session cookies keep you signed in and support security checks. Signing out ends your session. We process account information to provide the service you request, and relevant security information to protect accounts and prevent abuse.
Purchases and payments
Stripe processes one-time payments. Stripe may collect payment details, billing addresses, tax information, and other checkout information under Stripe's privacy policy. We receive customer, checkout, and payment identifiers, payment status, license and seat information, and billing records needed to administer your purchase. For Team purchases, the purchaser may assign developer seats by email. We store assigned email addresses and match them to signed-in accounts to provide access. We do not receive your full payment-card number from Stripe.
We use these records to provide paid access, handle support, maintain accounting records, and meet legal obligations. A refund does not require us to erase records that we must retain for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
Purchase confirmation emails
When your paid purchase completes, we send a confirmation through Postmark. This includes your account email, name, license type, and a reference identifying the confirmation. Team confirmations also include the purchased seat count and a link to the upcoming Team dashboard. The confirmation explains our occasional emails about new Composables and includes a link to stop those marketing emails. These transactional messages are separate from marketing; unsubscribing does not stop purchase confirmations or essential account messages. We keep delivery status and retry records to handle failures and avoid duplicate confirmations. We disable open and link tracking for these messages. Postmark processes delivery under its privacy policy.
Product emails and newsletters
After a verified Pairel purchase, we submit the purchaser's email address and name to Kit for occasional updates about new Composables added to the site. Creating a free account does not enroll you. The separate footer form also lets you request product emails directly. Kit processes subscriber information under Kit's privacy policy.
The purchase confirmation and each marketing email provide an unsubscribe option. Unsubscribing from product updates does not cancel your account or purchase. We respect unsubscribe and suppression preferences; signing in or buying again must not silently resubscribe an address that has opted out. Essential account, payment, and support messages are separate from marketing emails.
You may contact us to object to direct marketing or ask about your preferences.
Visits and analytics
When you search the templates, we save the search phrase and the number of matching screens and components. We use this to identify missing content. These search records are not linked to your account.
Our production pages use Simple Analytics to understand aggregate site usage. Its practices are described in Simple Analytics' privacy policy.
Our production pages also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people navigate and use the site. Clarity collects interaction events such as clicks, scrolling, pointer movement, and browser errors, along with page structure and content used for heatmaps and session playback. Microsoft says it masks privacy-sensitive fields, but other visible page content may be captured. Clarity may use first-party and third-party cookies to connect page views and sessions, depending on consent and browser settings. See Microsoft's Clarity data collection, cookie information, and privacy statement.
We use these analytics to improve the site. Analytics activity does not give us permission to send marketing emails.
Hosting and security systems may process IP addresses, request details, and error records to deliver pages, diagnose failures, and prevent abuse. Avoid sending secrets or payment-card information in support messages.
Sharing and international processing
We share relevant information with service providers needed to run the site, including Google for authentication, Stripe for billing, Postmark for purchase emails, Kit for newsletters, Simple Analytics for aggregate usage, and Microsoft for Clarity. These providers may process information in countries outside your own under their applicable arrangements. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the service and legal rights. We do not sell account details.
Retention and your choices
We retain account information while needed to provide your account and resolve related requests. Billing and security records may be retained longer where needed for legal obligations, disputes, or fraud prevention. Marketing suppression records may be retained to honor your opt-out. We do not promise a fixed deletion period that overrides these requirements.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Contact [email protected] from your account email. We may need to confirm your identity before acting. You may also complain to your applicable data-protection authority.
Security, children, and changes
We use reasonable safeguards, but no service can guarantee perfect security. This developer service is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and address it.
We update this policy when our practices change and revise the date above. This policy describes data handling; it does not turn your use of the site into consent for unrelated processing.
